With over 35 years in electronic music, Neal McClelland is a celebrated DJ, producer, and broadcaster. From his roots in Belfast’s rave scene to producing tribal house with Cristobal & Jamiez, collaborating with Nathan X since 2022, hosting top radio shows, and writing for XS Noize, McClelland continues to shape the dance music world.
Beginning in Belfast’s rave explosion of the 1980s, McClelland became known for his genre-blending DJ sets. As part of Cristobal & Jamiez, he creates tribal house tracks renowned for their driving grooves, while his work with Nathan X expands his innovative sound.
He hosts Downtown Drivetime on Downtown Radio, reaching listeners across Northern Ireland, along with Nocturnal Radio on Select Radio, and shows on Frisk Radio and Freedom FM. His writing for XS Noize highlights his expertise and support for emerging talent.
